Dr. Highkin earned his medical degree from the University of California in San Francisco. He then completed his internship and residency in Tuscon at the University of Arizona, Department of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Highkin has been a member of The Vancouver Clinic since 1988. He believes many chronic medical problems and conditions are caused by poor life-style choices. "I believe in patient education and correction of poor choices which can reduce or eliminate medication." He likes to take a preventative approach to patient care wherever possible.
Dr. Highkin enjoys being with his children, running, woodworking and hiking.
